A hard-living, hard-driving rock & roll band, they may jam endlessly on stage, but their music remains firmly entrenched in blues, rock and country. Sadly, a tragic plane crash in 1977 took three band members and Skynyrd split up. Thankfully for their fans, they reunited a decade later, becoming a hugely popular concert act once again.
