Jimmy Page links Jimmy Page is one of the most successful rock guitarists to come out of England in the '60s. Page was playing recording sessions in London studios while still in his teens. He formed Led Zeppelin in 1969, which was the predominant hard rock/heavy metal band in popular music until 1980. After the group split, Page was less active, though he formed another hard rock quartet, the Firm, in the mid-'80s. After two albums, he has performed as a solo artist.
