Ace Frehley links In early 1973, Paul "Ace" Frehley answered an ad for a new hard rock, theatrically-based group called Kiss. After huge success, Ace left Kiss in 1982, forming Frehley's Comet. In the early-90's, a full-blown reunion of the original line-up resulted in massively successful touring. Considered by many of today's guitarists as a major influence, Frehley is still atop most musicians' "top players" lists.
