Bob Seger links Michigan-rocker Bob Seger developed into one of the most popular heartland rockers of the '70s and '80s by combining the driving charge of garage rock with hard-edged soul and R&B. His distinctively American sound gathered a dedicated following through constant touring with his Silver Bullet Band. Back-to-back release of "Live Bullet" and "Night Moves" in 1976 gave Seger platinum success. He retained his popularity for the next two decades, with seven Top 10, platinum-selling albums in a row.
