Randy Rhoads, stand-out guitarist of the Ozzy Osbourne band, was widely acknowledged as a natural born star. His unique style--a fusion of heavy metal and classical guitar with a touch of the blues--proved instrumental to the success of The Blizzard Of Ozz and Diary Of A Madman, for which he wrote most of the music. Rhoads' life was cut short in a plane accident on March 19, 1982. He was 25. Randy Rhoads was inducted into RockWalk, March 18, 2004, on the 22nd anniversary of his last performance.
