Bill Graham links Concert promoter and artist manager Bill Graham changed the way rock and roll is presented. At the Fillmore in the late '60s, Graham challenged audiences by booking jazz, blues and folk artists in with psychedelic rock bands like the Grateful Dead and Miles Davis. He managed acts like Santana and the Neville Brothers, promoted tours for Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones, and helped to organize the Live Aid benefit concert of 1985. Graham died in October 1991, in a helicopter accident.
